Computer Aided Design

The name of the game is progress.

From the start, man has been expressing his ideas in images even before the advent of language. Cave paintings, carved stone, Ink on canvas and cell animation. Now there is 3d solid modeling.

The ability to create not only images, but entire machines and even worlds. Images need no longer be flat, 2d. With 3d solid modeling, they are not so much "painted' as built. Art has merged with engineering.

Each step up the ladder sharpens the focus, yet broadens the capabilities. The aim is the same: To convey and transmit ideas and information in as clear a manner as possible. Science Fiction becoming Science Fact.

The transmission of ideas in a clear form generates understanding and promotes further progress, as one builds upon the knowledge of others. The wheel need not be reinvented by each and every person. You can invent rubber tires instead, or a suspension system. Or an engine.

These pages are an exploration into some of the capabilities that our most powerful of tools, the computer, and the most powerful of gifts, our minds, can do together. Come, the future awaits us..

Site Notes:

The primary focus of this site is in the engineering aspect of CAD generated imagery. As an aid in the development of ideas, as well as the design and implementation of real products. There are some fun stuff as well. All artwork in this site are original and copyrighted by myself. If you wish to use them elsewhere, please drop me a line. I'm also available for contract image/model/site design. : )

This site is under constant construction.

Browser Notes:

Resolution -
In deference to the users who for some reason persist in using a 640 x 480 screen, all index pages will accommodate a width that may help prevent the dreaded ESSS (excessive side-scrollbar syndrome). However, practically ALL the individual artwork are of a larger size and a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 with 16 bit color is preferable.

Hardware and Connection Speed -
There are several rather massive animated gifs in this site which may cause difficulty and will not display properly on slower machines. Also, as with the nature of this site, it contains several files of rather large size. If you have a slow connection speed, please be patient.
